FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS

Authors who wish to contribute an oral or poster presentation are requested to send the title and a 75-word Short Abstract of the proposed paper in English by October 30, 2016.

Section "Pre-registration" of the conference website allows filling the online registration form and submission of short abstracts electronically. Abstracts can also be sent by email, fax or mail to the Conference Secretariat together with the filled registration form downloadable from the same page.

The submitted abstracts will be subject to a review by the Conference Program Committee for relevancy to LABAT focus areas and topics. Notification regarding acceptance of the proposed papers will be emailed to the submitting author before 15 November 2016. At least one of the co-authors should plan to attend LABAT’2017 and present the paper/poster.

An electronic copy of a camera-ready Extended Abstract (in MS Word for Windows format or as PDF file), four A4 pages with figures, should be submitted by March 15, 2017. Detailed instructions for preparation of extended abstracts will be provided in the Second Announcement.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINS

A Volume of Extended Abstracts of all papers submitted for presentation will be issued as LABAT’2017 Proceedings. A hard and an electronic copy of this volume will be included in the delegates’ packs with conference materials to be given to all registered participants. Since 2015, the LABAT Conference Proceedings have been indexed by SCOPUS.

A digital version of the LABAT’2017 Proceedings with electronic copies of the extended abstracts together with the all presentations (unedited) will be released after the conference.

After the Conference, full texts of papers presented at LABAT’2017 could be submitted directly to the Journal of Power Sources using the online Elsevier Editorial System - EES (http://ees.elsevier.com/power). These papers will be subject to the standard peer review process of the Journal. All accepted papers, submitted by the end of September 2017, will be published in an issue covering the event. It would be highly appreciated if authors put a mark presented at the LABAT’2017 Conference, Golden Sands Resort, Bulgaria, 13-16 June 2017’ in a footnote on the first page of the manuscript.
Kindly note that NO preliminary selection of papers for publication in the Journal of Power Sources will be made by the Organizing Committee of LABAT'2017.
