All LABAT’2017 delegates are kindly invited to attend the get-together cocktail party to be held on the evening of Monday 12 June, at Hotel INTERNATIONAL. It is open to all delegates and exhibitors as well as to their registered accompanying persons.
On Wednesday, 14 June, a gala banquet will be held. A dinner with national cuisine and high quality Bulgarian wines will be served. The fee for the banquet is included in the Registration Fee.

Accompanying persons or LABAT’2017 delegates who do not wish to attend some of the conference sessions may join some of the tours offered by Golden Sands resort. Some of the most interesting excursions are listed below.

VARNA SIGHTSEEING & SHOPPING

Panoramic roundtrip in Varna by coach and on foot. The rich history of this town dates back to the ancient Greeks in 585 BC. Nowadays Varna is a big cultural and tourist centre, recognized as the summer capital of Bulgaria. BALCHIK - CAPE KALIAKRA

Trip to the romantic white town of Balchik and visit to the architectural and garden complex Queen Marie's Palace, once summer residence of the Romanian queen Mary, with elements of Renaissance, Gothic, Moresque and Oriental styles. It’s magnificent botanical garden has the second biggest Cacti collection in Europe with over 250 different types. The final stop is the picturesque cape Kaliakra with the remains of a Medieval fortress.

The ancient fishing town of Nessebar is unique with it’s narrow streets, stone houses with thick walls and wooden balconies and yards full of flowers and fig-trees. It’s in the UNESCO list of historical town-museums. Remains of more than 40 churches from the period between 5th and 16th centuries can be seen during the sightseeing tour. Lunch in a cozy restaurant followed by free time for shopping.

JEEP SAFARI

Full day - Price: 35.00 EUR/person

Take an exotic one-day trip by jeep to picturesque forest regions in the countryside. Follow your path through the wild, virgin nature - a true feast for your cameras. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the middle of the forest. Travel across small pretty Bulgarian villages on your way back.
